About The Event
"Meet The Author" is held at the Robert Trail Library, 14395 S. Robert Trail Rosemount, MN 55068. This program is co-sponsored by RAAC and the Library. (Although some events will be at the Steeple Center when the library is busy)
Each event runs from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. The program begins with an author presentation about their self, their book and writing style, followed by Q&A and book selling and autographing by the author.

SYNOPSIS:
After visiting a friend who returned from World War II confined in a body cast, Kathy Collens felt compelled to enlist in the war effort. In 1944, at the age of 23, she joined the Army. Despite her background as a college-educated dietician from an affluent family, and having attended the 1936 Berlin Olympics, Kathy discovered nothing could fully prepare her for the realities of war.
